Shiva, a provider of IT solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a contract from HUD to provide project management, and software engineering services.
Shiva will be responsible for supporting new business functionality, leading/managing new project initiatives, and providing overall maintenance and support for one of HUD’s mission critical systems; the Inventory Management System (IMS). The environment includes, but is not limited to, J2EE/Java, Sun One Application Server, ASP, IIS, and Microsoft SQL Database.
Through Shiva’s help, the key benefits to HUD will be:
- New business functionality enhancements
- Better project management of key initiatives
- Support for all phases of the Software Engineering lifecycle
- Maintenance and issues resolution of mission critical system
Shiva will deliver these services in accordance with the highest technical and quality standards consistent with industry best practices.
