Shiva, a provider of IT solutions, announced today that it
has been awarded a contract from Fannie Mae to provide financial services consulting and full life-cycle software design and development for the National Property Disposition
Center (NPDC).
Shiva will be responsible for developing and implementing Java-based enhancements to the system as well as providing on-going operations and maintenance services. The environment includes Java, BEA Weblogic application server, Oracle 10G, and Business Objects.
Through Shiva’s help, the key benefits to Fannie Mae will be:
- Eliminating Credit Loss Management’s mainframe platform costs
- Providing new business functionality enhancements
- Incorporating the new accounting requirements by redesigning this application in a client server environment
Shiva will deliver these services in accordance with the highest technical and quality standards consistent with industry best practices.
