Shiva, a provider of IT solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a contract from Bank of America to provide financial services
consulting, project management, and infrastructure support and network administration services.
Shiva will be responsible for supporting new business functionality, leading/managing new project initiatives, and providing overall infrastructure support and network administration. The environment includes, but is not limited to, Unix SUN Solaris, Java,
Sybase, Red Hat Linux 3.0, and Weblogic application servers.
Through Shiva’s help, the key benefits to Bank of America will be:

- Simplified management of access control through role-based authorization
- Secure access to the Web servers and content
